Mapleonim Game Rules
The standards that keep the game, Discord, and site fair and friendly.
Before You Start
Joining Mapleonim means accepting these guidelines. The staff may revise them at any time - changes take effect the moment they are announced (site, Discord, or in-game notice).
Accounts & Names
- You must be at least 13. Use a real email and accurate details.
- IP, MAC and Hardware ID are logged for anti-multi/security purposes.
- Names must be 4-12 letters/digits - no slurs, no staff impersonation, no RWT advertising.
- One active account per person per platform (game / forum / Discord).
Infractions are graded into three tiers. Severity and context are always weighed by the staff.
TIER 1 Tier 1 - Permanent Ban
- Account breaches, phishing, or coercing login info.
- Third-party programs that grant an edge: macros, AHK, auto-hunters, packet sniffers. 1:1 key remapping is fine.
- Attacks on the server or other players' connections.
- Duplicating items or mesos via exploits. Finding a dupe and not reporting it is itself a violation.
- Selling, buying or trading currency, items or accounts for real money - including peer "donations" for in-game perks.
- Spreading malware or other people's private info.
- Modified clients, or running a build older than 14 days.
TIER 2 Tier 2 - 14-day Ban (repeat → permanent)
- Impersonating staff or claiming their backing.
- Advertising other servers, businesses or commercial offers.
- Abusing any non-dupe bug to gain an advantage.
- AFK/automated play that runs without a responsive human at the keyboard.
- Bypassing the daily vote limit.
- Cheating other players in agreed trades (scamming).
- Receiving or moving high-value goods (5B+ mesos) without verifying their source - items will be removed.
TIER 3 Tier 3 - Short Ban (escalating: 3 / 7 / 30 / 90 days)
- Harassment, threats, racism, homophobia, sexism, spam, or sexual content in public chat.
- Kill-stealing - hitting bosses/mobs on a map you don't own, without permission.
- Picking up drops that aren't yours.
- On the forum: spamming, double-posting, posting in the wrong section, offensive signatures or avatars.
Also Counted as Breaches
- Joking about breaking a rule = breaking the rule.
- Making an alt account to dodge a ban.
- Knowingly partying with or helping rule-breakers.
Enforcement & Appeals
- Staff have full discretion on the actual penalty given the context.
- Each ban may be appealed once. After that, the decision stands.
- Forum warning points expire after 6 months; permanent bans do not.
